See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

and not to beat a dead horse but if you participate in civil disobedience be prepared for repercussions. the reason why protests and the like have such power is bc they disrupt the status quo and make it harder for people to sidestep the issue irl. that shit is uncomfortable to the establishment. go figure that an ivy league or private university president would use whatever resources they had to get protesters off campus right before finals and graduation. like do you think individuals that attained positions of power through nepotism and greasing palms wouldn’t want to do anything they could to hold on to that power? if you were running a private university, which seeks to turn a profit fyi, doesn’t it make sense to vehemently oppose forces demanding divestment? it’s just business.

but cool yeah let’s expect social change without social discomfort. cmon now.

absolutely go out and protest and occupy and stir shit up bc what’s going on in gaza and the west bank and on university campuses is wrong, full stop. we need change. we need a ceasefire and we need better civil liberties protections on college campuses. but we cannot expect to get there solely by shouting that They (nebulous authority figure bogeyman) need to divest and They need to amend their speech codes and They need to change. divest from these universities, hold protests and fill up the jails, break unjust laws, and take direct action. keep going and keep growing. but don’t act shocked when corrupt people act corrupt and when the bill of rights requires *nuance*

mine some of yall need to brush up on your supreme court opinions! i really don't mean to be antagonistic or come off like i oppose the protests i don't but yall gotta stop acting outraged when your radical actions illicit a radical response

Nothing like hearing how my mom and grandma are at a university assisting college students who got tased by cops because they were protesting for Israel to stop committing genocide.

That was the first thing I heard when I got home-

What the hell happened to first amendment rights? Because all I see now is that the freedom of protest and the freedom of speech doesn't apply when people speak out against genocide.

I live in such a hypocritical country, good lord.

private universities don’t have to respect freedom of speech. i’ve also seen time place and manner restrictions used to justify certain actions.

Where the FUCK did pickleball come from??? The last I heard of it was in a dingy school gym surrounded by other sweaty high schoolers. And now Taylor Swift plays it? My mom is looking into it. Target has a whole collection of pickleball outfits. What happened.

accessibility is a big part of it i think. its relatively inexpensive to purchase the necessary gear, its not as physically strenuous as some other sports, and its a social game. all this makes it super appealing to seniors/retirees. my local rec center has two basketball courts and they run pickleball for 40 hours a week. they’re fiends for it.

My top three Gaylor proof pieces that after you've seen them and you still think she's not queer in so way, shape or form, you're straight up homophobic (yes even if you yourself are queer):

1. Following Gaylor blogs, see here

2. "Gay Pride makes me me" yes she literally said that when making the ME! music video, you can find it in Miss Americana documentary on Netflix

3. Kissgate, the time when her and Karlie Kloss were on a 1975 concert and there are full on photos of them kissing

And now I bet Hetlors are going to say "Well this isn't proof because… reasons!" but you're just homophobic, accept that and get over it.
